Tesco offers one-stop shop for holiday essentials

Tesco offers customers planning an Easter break the perfect ‘one-stop shop’ for travel cover and holiday essentials.  Simply drop into a Tesco store to get your travel money and travel insurance, whilst stocking up on sun cream. This ‘one-stop shop’ is a convenient way for holidaymakers to get all their travel essentials in one place.

With almost 200 bureaux in stores across the country, Tesco Bank Travel Money offers customers competitive exchange rates, travellers’ cheques and pre-paid currency cards. Tesco also offers a price match policy – if customers can find a better exchange rate within a five mile radius on the same day, it will guarantee to match the rate*. There’s no cash advance fee and no handling fee if you pay with your Tesco Clubcard Credit Card and, as an added bonus, Tesco Bank Travel Money is currently holding an Easter Rate Sale on Euros and US Dollars which will run until Wednesday 11 April.

To help protect customers from the unexpected, Clubcard customers can exclusively buy Tesco Travel Insurance in-store. Clubcard customers can simply select the cover they need from the packs available in-store and then pay at the till for the policy that best suits their needs. All policies cover emergency medical expenses, personal belongings, personal money, cancellation and curtailment, personal liability and legal expenses.

Iain Clink, Chief Commercial Officer at Tesco Bank says,

“Life is often hectic in the run-up to a holiday, but Tesco makes things that little bit easier by providing a one-stop shop for your holiday essentials. What better time to get your travel money and insurance than when you’re stocking up on sun cream, and with Tesco you can be sure that you’ll get great value for money as well as convenience.”
